I forgot my pattern

On the unlock screen tap Use recovery phrase, enter your 12 words, then draw a new pattern.

I got a new phone

If iCloud backup was on, install Umbra, tap Restore and enter your recovery phrase. If you exported a backup file, choose Restore a backup and pick the .umbra file.

I lost my pattern and my phrase

We're sorry. The vault can't be opened by anyone, including us. That's the point of the design.

How do hidden vaults work?

Each pattern opens its own vault. Create another one in Settings, then Create another vault. The unlock screen never lists vaults.

What is the duress pattern?

A second pattern for a vault you're comfortable showing. Drawing it opens that vault and removes every other vault's pattern from the phone. Your phrase can still restore them later unless you chose to destroy their data.

Managing your subscription

iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Android: Google Play, Payments and subscriptions. To restore a purchase on a new phone, open Umbra Pro and tap Restore.
